SLA Philanthropy Contributions
Congratulations to our 2025 recipient, Backfield in Motion.
Every year, as part of our commitment to giving back to the community, the SLA selects a deserving non-profit organization from our host city and makes a significant philanthropic contribution. Since the start of this initiative in 2000, we have been able to support these wonderful organizations with over $450,000 in donations.
As we continue our commitment to making a positive impact on communities through sports, we are proud to announce that Backfield in Motion has been named our 2025 philanthropy recipient.
Backfield in Motion is a remarkable organization that seamlessly intertwines athletics and academics to empower youth in underserved communities. Their dedication to fostering educational success, combined with athletic engagement, resonates deeply with our core values at the SLA.
This partnership not only highlights the positive impact of sports within society but also underscores our commitment to support initiatives that inspire change through education and sportsmanship.
Together, we continue to celebrate the values of sportsmanship and community service.
