We're excited to announce that Michael Copeland, Chief Operating Officer of the Canadian Football League, Len Glickman, a senior member of the Sports Law Practice Group at Cassels Brock, and Gord Kirke, Former President of the SLA, will be joining us to discuss the wide ranging consequences of athlete misconduct in the wake of high profile incidents involving Tiger Woods, Gilbert Arenas, Michael Vick and others. The fallout affects endorsement deals, playing contracts, collective bargaining and much more; so the issue not only makes front page news, it also directly impacts the work of sports lawyers in a wide variety of roles. A question and comment period will follow the panel presentation.
A sandwich and salad lunch will be served, and there will be time for networking between 12 and 12:30 p.m.
Please RSVP at your earliest convenience, but no later than April 1, 2010, to David Goldstein at dgoldstein@casselsbrock.com.
Space may be limited so please RSVP as soon as possible. |
